Open position: Supply Planner (Benelux Market, based in Madrid) - Apply until: 31/10/2012

For our customer, a leading global manufacturer of components for the automotive industry, we are looking for a Supply Planner for the Benelux market based in Madrid, Spain. A very high level of English is essential. 

Permanent position. 40 % remote. 

Your tasks

You are responsible for the planning, the coordination, the follow-up and the organisation of an optimal customer service level via the logistics process, and organizing the shipment of goods from the place of departure to the destination. 

Direct shipment orders handling.

• Order entry in relation to customer inbound capacity
• Order confirmation optimization, shortage escalation, shipment planning in agreement with the plants & customers, unloading error report, service level KPI

Regular customer & IKAM contacts.

• Establish insight into existing and potential customers and suppliers
• Anticipate and respond to customer (external/internal) needs, requirements and wishes
• Understand and take market conditions, market developments, opportunities and trends into account
• Anticipate economic, social and technological influences on the company and the domain you're working in

Market planning maintenance

• Structure tasks and activities (e.g. order book and confirmation vs customer inbound capacity)
• Establish time schedules and monitor its progress (e. g. maintaining budget sales volume, delivery planning and order confirmation monitoring)
• Ensure the necessary flow of planning information to the stakeholders (e.g. anticipate shortage situation and define actions)
• Deliberate, consider alternatives and make decisions or choices (e.g. propose alternative articles to customers in case of shortage, adapt FC or order book when necessary to ensure orders are executed on time)
• FC and budget maintenance.

Your skills

• Knowledge in Planning System SAP APO DP or similar
• Advanced knowledge in BI Score
• Advanced MS Office, mainly Excel and PPT
• Analytical skills.
• Willingness to work in virtual teams and willingness to travel
• Ability to explain policies, process, procedures and technical information clearly and accurately, verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical workforce
• A very high level of English is essential, German and/or Spanish desirable
